Book Share Platform
A platform for book enthusiasts to share their collections, exchange books, and connect with other readers.
Ideation
Through observation, we have noted a growing enthusiasm for books among people. However, with the rapidly accelerating pace of modern life, many individuals find it challenging to allocate sufficient time and channels to expand their reading lists. Simultaneously, we have observed that many people possess a considerable number of books, yet these books often remain untouched on shelves for extended periods, leading to the underutilization and waste of resources.
Each user uploading their books to the exchange platform forms a diverse and rich online book repository.
Decentralized Network
Our platform creates a decentralized network of users and books, where each participant contributes to and benefits from the collective knowledge. The system connects users through shared interests, recommendations, and content, forming an interconnected community around literary resources.
The decentralized network enables efficient resource sharing and discovery of new books through community connections.

Through sharing the questionnaire on social media platforms, I obtained 70 survey samples, and all of them indicated a fondness for reading books.

A 25-year-old working professional living in Taipei, Ivy is a book enthusiast who loves to read during her leisure time. She is keen on exploring new books without the hassle of purchasing every time. Ivy values convenience and time efficiency in her busy schedule.
Frustrations:

A 26-year-old photographer based in Taipei, Kevin is passionate about photography and seeks a convenient way to explore new photography books. With a busy schedule capturing moments, he values efficiency and simplicity. Kevin is the target user for BookShare.
